  • 8 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil and cook the sliced beef for 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Stir-fry broccoli florets and onion slices in the same skillet for about 3-4 minutes until slightly softened. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Toss in the cooked noodles until well coated in the sauce.
