  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in the cooked turkey bacon, beef broth, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if desired.
  4. Simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to thicken.
  5. Stir in butter until melted for added richness.
