Ingredients
- 1 package of pre-made pie crust (2 rolls)
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup diced yellow onion
- 1/2 medium diced bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup Mexican blended cheese
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, onions, and bell pepper until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili powder; cook for another two minutes until fragrant.
- Roll out pie crusts on a floured surface and cut into circles approximately the size of a cereal bowl.
