Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 tsp minced ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 12 oz linguine noodles
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with ginger and garlic until cooked through. Drain fat.
  2. Boil linguine noodles in salted water until al dente.
  3. Mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and hoisin sauce in a bowl. Pour over cooked beef.
  4. Sauté for about 3 minutes to absorb flavors.
  5. Add drained noodles to the skillet and stir well; cook together for an additional couple of minutes.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
