- 15 oz can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 15 oz can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 4 cups beef broth or chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- Add ground turkey; cook until browned.
- Stir in brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and tomato paste.
- Pour in the broth and crushed tomatoes. Add all three types of beans; mix well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
