Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk until just combined.
  5. For the filling, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter into a paste.
  6. Layer half the batter in the pan, add the cinnamon filling, then top with remaining batter and smooth out.
