  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 11×7-inch baking pan with tin foil or cooking spray.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugars together until smooth. Add eggs one by one while mixing well.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and cinnamon, then gradually mix in the dry ingredients. Fold in the chopped apples gently.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. For the topping, melt butter in a saucepan; stir in brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until combined.
  6. For the glaze, whisk melted butter, maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  7. Drizzle topping over cooled blondies followed by pouring on the glaze before slicing into bars.
