  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet heated over medium-high, sear chicken until golden (about 6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, melt butter, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (30 seconds).
  5. Stir in honey and simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Add heavy cream; stir until smooth and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
  8. Toss in cooked pasta and use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency as needed.
  9. Serve hot with optional garnishes like parsley or green onions.
